The 2014 Stotesbury Cup Regatta was this past weekend, and in case you missed it, we’d like to take a moment to tell you a bit more about our setup at the event.
We worked closely with Ambler Fireplace & Patio to create an outdoor lounge like no other, complete with music, a live feed of the race, and the most comfortable outdoor seating you’ve ever seen in your life.
SunBrite TV Waterfall Kiosk
Until you see one for yourself, it’s difficult to fathom how breathtaking an all-weather, outdoor TV can be.
SunBrite TV let us borrow the beautiful waterfall display you see pictured above, demonstrating how “all-weather” each and every SunBrite TV is – by pouring water directly over top of it. Visitors couldn’t get enough of the SunBrite waterfall kiosk, and a many would approach it in disbelief, touching it to see if the water was real (it was).
We also ran a live feed from the finish line directly to the set, which was great for spectators looking to get out of Friday’s rain. The end result was a super-cool setup that showed just how great an outdoor TV can be – even in the worst weather conditions.
Sonance Landscape Series Outdoor Speakers
Last year, the 4.1 high-output Sonance Landscape Series (SLS) outdoor speaker system was a huge hit, so this year we decided to kick it up a notch, bringing a 16.2 outdoor speaker system with us to the event.
Packing 16 satellites, two subwoofers, and a 1,000-watt Crown amplifier, we were ready to rock everyone’s socks off. To ensure everything sounded its best, we connected a Meridian Audio Direct DAC between the laptop and the amp, bypassing the laptop’s lackluster soundcard with something designed for top-shelf audio performance.
All in all, the system sounded spectacular. We couldn’t count the number of people we caught singing and dancing as they walked by our tent if we tried.
